Hello and welcome! I am a Christian, a life-long artist and writer, and homeschooling mother of 4 kids from toddler to teen.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, specializing in Drawing and Painting, from CSU Long Beach. I’ve worked as the Arts & Programs Director for a Children’s Museum and an K-8 art teacher at a private school before coming home to raise a family. Homeschooling my kids has been an extremely rich experience, requiring me to seriously consider all aspects of education and “being educated.” I've been able to study a variety of fascinating subjects with my family.  In addition, I've learned to be creative in maintaining a home, providing meals, getting everyone to the right soccer field at the right time, and we do it all on a shoestring-budget...well, more like a very fine thread!

I've wandered down many different paths in my life - some positive, some negative, but all very enlightening. I look forward to sharing many of these experiences and discoveries with anyone willing to read about them.
